CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. has vehicles available for company use (Motor Pool) only. The vehicles are the property of CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. and are to be used for CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. business purposes only.



Drivers of CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. vehicles must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.



Drivers of CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. vehicles must have a driving record free of the following.

* Citations occurring within the past twelve (12) months.
* Any moving violation involving an accident, unless the drivers have completed an approved driving course subsequent to receiving each moving violation citation;
* Reckless driving;
* Or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.



Drivers of CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. vehicles may be asked to complete an approved Driver Program every three years. In the event of a moving violation citation or accident, the Driver Program may be retaken prior to driving a vehicle again.



All employees who regularly operate CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. vehicles as a designated part of their job may be asked to ▪

* Complete an approved Driver Program at initial employment and annually thereafter

Drivers are responsible for the safe operation and condition of the vehicle they are driving and should be familiar with the vehicle safety equipment. Vehicle problems or concerns should be promptly reported to: (a) Motor Pool if the vehicle is a Motor Pool vehicle and/or (b) Management if the vehicle is a departmental vehicle.



**Traffic Laws and Seat Belts
Traffic Laws**

* The failure to obey any applicable traffic law while driving or occupying a CFTS vehicle may result in suspension or revocation of the CFTS vehicle operator privileges of all authorized drivers in the vehicle.



**Seats Belts Required**

* All occupants of CFTS vehicles must wear seat belts. The failure of any person to wear a seat belt while driving or occupying a CFTS vehicle may result in the suspension or revocation of the CFTS vehicle operator privileges of all authorized drivers in the vehicle.



**Responsibility for Traffic Citations**

* A public officer or employee of CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. who receives a traffic citation or parking ticket while using a CFTS vehicle will be personally responsible for the citation or ticket.
